Hi, new member here. Have already posted about batteries not holding charge. Im in France and popped into VW Bordeaux where they said my new T7 Ocean needed the software update. Have only the van 2 weeks and it appears it is running on the old 26 software. They can do it but not before the middle of November. As Im on the road I am going to ty the dealer in Narbonne to see if they can help. The dealer I bought the van from in Lille chose not to reply to my messaging, but eventually I'll get around to talking to them about it.
I now have another issue and that is water leaking from the sink directly into everything below ie not through the waste. Most of it ended up in the drawer section and the drawer itself totally flooded whilst I was driving. The water is very brown which is not a great look. Since I've had the van Ive had no water at all until it started spurting out in spits and spurts of the sink tap, whilst on the road. Bordeaux VW said this was Lilley linked to the software update that is needed.

That’s very bizarre and worrying. Sorry we have a 6.1 so don’t have a direct experience. I can’t understand how a water leak could be connected to a software update.

A software update doesn't fix water leaks, nonsense answer from VW. Persist in getting it fixed (and not just by updating the software).

It’s amazing just how much depends on software … but ‘no’ - a software update wont fix a leak or unbend a panel!

I'd be rejecting the vehicle and insisting on a full refund if that happened to my brand new £80k van. It is simply not fir for purpose!

I’m not surprised to hear you need the software update, I think VW are now rolllng it out urgently to all existing vehicles, I dread to think the number of batteries they will have had to replace for customers.
The water leak is odd as it can only come from the sink above. It looks like someone has flushed tea down the sink and the waste pipe from the sink is loose. Which should be an easy fix.
I purchased a boroscope from Amazon and have used it to look in the water tank, I’d be tempted to do the same and make sure there isn’t brown water in your water supply.
