Broken armrest

Well it’s happened my wife has stood on the armrest and broken it. Now time for a very expensive week getting vw to replace it and look at getting some kind of ladder.

Let us know how you get on. I bought a replacement from Ebay but the cam profile is slightly different. So I moved it to the passenger nearside one which never gets used. VW only sell the arms rest which is annoying

Apparently my armrest has been superseded and will now cost me £182 plus vat instead of £128. Not including fitting might trade the wife in may be cheaper

We went to this place when the ratchet broke on the arm rest in our old T5. They were able to replace if fairly cheaply. But if you’ve broken the actual arm … but. they might still help

I had the same in a Caravelle that had a pop top fitted. If it's broken on the fixing to the seat itself it's an easy fix. Bought the part from eBay (https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/363525541498) and needed a long spline tool (M10 I think) for the rachet spanner but otherwise pretty straightforward.
