Bottom bed t6.1 Ocean

We have a t6.1 ocean and we are having difficulty getting bed down. When hasn’t been used for a while, pulling on the middle strap needs some force to bring bed down. Does something need oiling etc?

Are you referring to the roof bed or the seat bed?

I am guessing the lower seat bed. If so, have you tried pulling the top of the upright seat back forward as you pull the strap, before then pushing the same top of the upright seat back backwards to lower it flat?

Check that the seat belts either side of the bench seat have not locked into position. Sometimes that happens. Give them a gentle pull whilst lowering the backrest.

I have my24 6.1, and faced similar issues.

You may find the strap you are pulling is twisted from previous use and makes it difficult to disengage the mechanism to drop bed.

Try this…

1: pull out drawer under bed
2: remove toolbox (if attached to bed in rear)
3: pull down strap from under seat
4: straighten and retrieve back through seat belt hole
