Best step for entry

My daughter is coming out of hospital today with reduced mobility (for the time being) and as the Cali is our only car she'll need to get up to it! Has anyone else bought a step to assist with providing another "step up" and if so which one?

Caravan steps maybe useful some come with handles to hold on to. Search on amazon "caravan steps with handrail" gives lots. If storage an issue and you have stable ground and someone to hold on to try search for "folding step stool". My mother used a folding step but it may not be stable enough. Being short I find it hard to get into the van sometimes so I have to pull my self up using the headrest or sometimes resting on rear seat via the sliding door. Drivers door I hold on to the steering wheel. The slope of the road also makes a difference and if there is a kerb or not. Good luck.

You need one that's around 10" tall. My wife had a sprained ankle and our caravan step was perfect. Make sure its a good size, too small and it will be unsatble. All the doors will clear it at 10".

We have a folding height adjustable step, works very well on uneven ground and folds flat.

I’ve just had abdominal surgery so bought a step for temporary use - then thought it’s actually useful to keep anyway for giving a lift to less mobile relatives. The ‘vonhaus’ single folding step stool (can buy direct or from Argos) is exactly the right height for me being about half the height of the Cali step up - and when the legs are folded it sits neatly between the front seats.
