Hi,
We're in Australia and have a 2020 California Beach. It's not a daily drive so I keep a trickle charger on the leisure battery when parked and had assumed this would overflow into the main battery (Australian imports don't have an external electric hookup fitted).
Started it today (it has been 5 months) and got a "main battery very low message". It charged OK whilst driving though.
My question is, do a need to use 2 trickle chargers, one for the main and one for the leisure, or if I connect to the main battery will it overflow into the leisure?
And if I were to use 2 chargers, might that lead to subsequent electrical problems?
Apologies if this is a dumb question, but electronics is a dark art to me.
