Awning rattle driving me crazy!

Just get a length of 5mm sticky draft excluder trim. Chop it into 30mm lengths and stick one to every part of the awning where there’s metal to metal contact when it’s rolled away.
Wind it in until it’s almost closed and you’ll see where you need to put the strips.

Thanks very much for this. Yes, I have put in pressure producing draft excluder the whole way along but it still rattles and I’ve isolated it to the end of the roller on the front side of the van which still seems to rattle and it doesn’t rattle on the other end, which makes me think that there’s a problem on one end

Trust me I tried everything over the preceding 10years ..... most of which have now been removed. A simple test. Go for a drive, when it rattles, put weight on the awning case by holding it down. If it stops the rattle, voila..........its the awning to bracket issue

Yes- have tried this and have isolated that it is not the awning to bracket issue. Thank you though!
