I recently put the bike rack on my T6 Beach and the Atera Strada 13-pin plug only works when not fully twisted/locked - anyone had this?
I managed to use it by having it half in but I can't do that again in case it comes lose.

Do you have a neighbour or family close by where you could try to eliminate the cause? Can you plug your bike rack in another one's car, or plug another bike rack or trailer in your van?
If the issue stays with your van you will have to look in the holes of the plug if the round springs are still all in place. If the problem moves with the bike rack, you should have a look at the wires of the bike rack.

Could be the outer casing of the plug has become misaligned. This is the bit that twist round when locking the plug onto the vehicle connector. Used to happen on our caravan plug fairly regularly.

You can get an alignment tool which is normally a green plastic fitting to sort it out. Any caravan accessory shop will sell them as well as Halfords. They are about £2.99.

Thanks both, I connected the bike rack to the brother-in-laws vehicle and it worked perfectly. I therefore assume it isn't an issue with alignment. I visually inspected my socket and it looked clean with no corrosion. I guess I'll need to replace the socket with aftermarket Jaeger 13-pin socket.
