There are a few threads on floor rails or roof rails, but i was after some hooks etc. that might slide into the side rails that I can secure a washing line, or tarp etc. Ideally I'd like to be able to slide it in and for it to tighten with a loop so I can attach things (whilst stationary!). Does anyone have or know of something that fits that might do the job? Any links or images would be appreciated.

I know the side rails are only glued on and so shouldn't have too much load.

Thanks in advance.

Does anyone know the size of the fixing for the side rails, is it 6mm might be 7mm? And is it the same on the outside edge of the awning?

I can fit an M8 bolt in there so Kador must me 8mm.

Isn't that in an adaptor that is into the rail, is that the same size as the rail itself?

Are these any good

Thanks, was hoping to avoid plastic if possible, quite like the strapping type or metal really. i think they might be stronger. Waiting to try something in the section to see if its 8mm or 6mm, I have a shade i think that fits, so i can sure of sizing, but am suffering with broken ribs after a mountain bike accident so, having to take it easy!

Hello from Germany, I am new to this forum, just joined today. I own a California Beach Camper, 150 HP, hand-shifted, built in 2022.

I solved the problem described very simply. What’s more, it’s inexpensive and reliable, and can be fitted and removed quickly. No real German engineering though, but helpful and reliable.IMG_0391.jpegIMG_0392.jpegIMG_0393.jpegIMG_0395.jpegIMG_0396.jpegThe pictures show the solutions quite clearly; they’re self-explanatory. I was able to order all the materials from Amazon. The small plastic washers are important to prevent any scratches. The screw diameter is 6 mm. That’s sufficient. The whole thing can also be left fitted in the car wash, as it sits very firmly and securely. When not in use, however, I take everything apart, as it’s so quick and easy to do.
More later, will need to orient myself in this big forum.
Best, Klaus-Henning

Perfect. Do you have the links to amazon for the constituent parts?

Very nice. Thanks. But if not using plastic washers from both sides - you don't mind that you scratch the rail from inside? It's not visible from outside at all?
Noticed, that the black paint is EXTREMELY prone to scratching.
