Anyone had their 5+ Promise Inclusive Plan cancelled by VW

Hi, I wonder if anyone else has experienced this.
I bought my Cali Ocean 6.1 in September 2024 from a main dealer with delivery miles on it (24miles). It was pre-registered by VW a whole year before so I am effectively the first owner. It was bought with a 5+ Promise Inclusive Plan (5 services + MOTs and something else I have forgotten) and this was a deciding factor in buying it. I have only had one service done since buying it. A couple of days ago I received a letter from VW Financial services telling me the 5+ Plan was added to my vehicle in error at the time of purchase so they are cancelling it!!! Their reasons being that it either the vehicle variant wasn’t eligible or the vehicle use (sales channel) isn’t eligible (whatever that means). Oh and they are sorry and the service I have had wont be charged for.

This left me baffled and annoyed. At the time of purchase there were a host of low use 6.1 Calis on sale that included this 5+Plan that I could/would have bought if I knew this particular vehicle didn't have the plan included.
I have of course questioned this with VW Finance and so far had no response.

Be good to know if anyone else has experienced this and managed to challenge it successfully
