Any ideas on fitting Fresh water outlet hose??

Hello, cleaning out water tanks today. Can anyone advise if they have removed the plastic cover under their van to access and then fit a hose of some description to the fresh water outlet. I have read from other threads it’s just normal for it to spill out all over the place but I would like to see if I can do something to stop this. Photos, diagrams and ideas most welcome xx

Be aware the water tank drain outlet is combined and integral with the gas outlet from the sealed gas locker.

I know it appears messy but it's only clean water and the plastic undertray protects the drain/gas outlet from roadspray and muck.
