Amazon Basics Expandable Hitch Rack Cargo Bag

Just for anyone looking to buy this bag in the future: a big difference in price (including shipping, import costs, etc) between amazon.nl and amazon.com (135 euros in NL and 69 euros in USA).

I was to impatient and decided to buy the MaxxHaul one that @thepickles mentioned. I actually preferred the look of the HandiHoldAll mentioned by @Fish111111111. but the small one was so small (175L) and the large one (400L) to deep to fit the bike rack. Will post my experiences with the MaxxHaul bag as soon as it arrives and will take it on our summer holiday to get a real impression of the thing.

Hi Tom,

The product was decent quality. It's a good big size. I think it serves its purpose well. Fits the bike rack well and attaches easiliy and safely. If you need to transport extra items outside of the van and want to do it on the bike rack, this is a decent and affordable solution. If you consider getting it, make sure you compare prices. Amazon.com was notably cheaper then Amazon.nl for us. I believe almost half price.

In the end we did however decide (much like with not bringing bikes) that we prefer to not have things on the bike rack. So we stuffed a bit more things into the back of the van and decided to leave a few more things at home, to be able to travel without anything outside of the van. But that is personal preference. The bag is a good solution if you do want extra space to carry more things.
