Alpine halo 11 installation

Hello guys! i would like to ask some questions regarding the alpine halo 11.

I have just installed the unit at a workshop and i would like to know:

1st. They tell me that the usb c sockets next to the gearbox are now disabled, and that i have to install another one with usb-a and a mini jack port. Is that true? there is no way to use that usbc ports?

2nd. The phone in the dashboard is no longer working, a message appears. Starting phone functions..... and nothing happens.

3rd. The SOS warning, now an error appears in the dashboard, they say i have to install a module for that.

Now all VW menus has gone i asume that the alpine has it all isnt it?

Unfortunately it's the installer that's at fault. There are various add-ons that should have been put in that retain the USB C and phone connections and also permit the SOS function.
