I wonder if anyone can offer some advice please before I embark on a trip to the dealership.

Returning from the Lincoln show yesterday (and seeing the Lancaster flyover!), after about 30 miles into the journey , 3 x amber warning signs appeared on the dash panel (please see pic). Pulled over, switched off and checked symbols.
1 x central warning lamp
1 x front assist deactivated
1 x adaptive cruise control not available

Dry weather, and only thing used was front screen wash about 6 times.

Started Cali back up and no symbols shown, continued journey home . We have a 2022 Cali Ocean (not 4motion) with around 12,000 miles

Any recommendations on what reason might be and if dealership visit is required?

Thanks in advance.

You will have a wheel speed sensor failed.

When they fail all three warning light illuminate, the speed systems use the wheel speed sensor, when there is a failure they simply turn off and threw the warning lights

There are lots of posts on how to replace the wheel speed sensor

Probably an ABS sensor on one of the wheels. Worse case it's beginning to fail and the lights will come back on intermittently until on permanent and then it needs changing, or some road muck got in the way and now cleared.
When an ABS sensor fails you lose Front Assist, ACC and ABS assisted braking.

Thank you for your reply. Such a great forum and a font of knowledge. Much appreciated.

Cheers to both Perfectos and WelshGas for their comprehensive replies
It’s rare to have an ABS sensor failure at 12000 miles but not impossible, and if under warranty it should be covered unless it is the result of some damage, unlikely.

Could a pothole visit cause it? Not sure where the sensors are located? About 6 months ago one appeared without warning in Nottinghamshire but first time the dash lights have come on.

Each wheel has an ABS sensor on the rear of the hub that picks up the rotational speed of the wheel.

Yes a pothole that allowed a wheel to change rotational speed compared to the wheel on the other side of the axle could illuminate the ABS indicator on the Dashboard.

Thank you for sharing the location of the sensor. I will get it checked out

There is one sensor on each wheel,
you will need to either diagnose it yourself with an OBD reader capable of identifying which sensor is faulty, or taking to someone who can .

After market replacement part is very cheap , you could opt to change all 4 yourself if so inclined and take pot luck that you find the faulty one first go.

Just be aware that 9 out of 10 times it is a very simple job.
Jack up.
Wheel off.
Unplug connection.
Undoe bolt.
Lift out sensor and replace.
Reverse of the above.

BUT 10% of the time they are well and truly welded in place and virtually have to be dismembered to remove carefully without damaging the sensor ring.

Rear sensor failures are more common than front apparently.

Took my Dealership 4 hrs to replace the 2 rear ABS sensors, only 1 had failed but I elected to have both replaced. The only failure in 10yrs and 140,000 miles

We call our green white/ocean Vinnie too!!!

We also have had a dashboard light up like a disco, lights appear and then disappear. We largely ignore them but will one day get Vinnie booked in for a £200 electrical inspection at the dealers.

Vinnie likes to keep us on our toes!!! Happy travels and nice to ‘meet’ another Vinnie!

I will take it into a dealer. I have the additional 2 year warranty so they can check them out. Unfortunately I am not mechanically minded - I would say let the ‘experts’ do it but we all know dealerships aren’t necessarily the experts :) Thanks for your valuable comment.

Both of my rears were in the 10% and solidly jammed into the hub. Ended up tapping them out from the back with a length of dowel. There is a plastic cap about 100mm diameter that is easily removed revealing the end of the sensor and ring.
My biggest worry was making sure the van was safe and on axel stands. Can understand if you would prefer a garage to do the work, it would be much easier on a lift.

What did you use to diagnose the front left and rear right were the problem?
When I had my suspension replaced ( VB air removed and Koni actives fitted) the guy had a plug in device, I think it was an app on his phone but can't remember, I took a picture of the screen.
