Hi Folks,

Does anyone have any thoughts on additional security measures?

Thinking of something like a decent steering wheel lock, something that will deter would be thieves if they were to look in the front windows.

Does anyone have any thoughts?

What do you do?

Also, looking out for a two camera solution, if anyone has one for sale or can recommend a system?

Best regards

There are lots of relatively recent threads on this topic.
It all comes down to either trusting the very effective built-in security features, or maybe adding a visual deterrent or going all the way with gear box locks, etc.
The world is your oyster.
If a thief really wants your van he/she will steal it. If it's an opportunistic thief then a deterrent may put them off.
You pays your money and makes your choice.

The zero cost option is to leave the van with the driver's seat turned around and pushed back against the steering wheel, backrest angled down and with the handbrake on. Unless the thief is familar with rotating seats in a California it'll slow them right down!

Ive recently added a scorpion 5+ tracker / remote immobiliser onto my van. Not acheap option but id hope effective one. As already said though, they want it they will take it.
