Nykosssssssss
When I bought my Cali (2nd hand) I’ve noticed that the AC control unit wasn’t sitting in the correct position and when pressed it “sunk” in the dashboard.

BEFORE THE FIX:
AFTER THE FIX:
By removing the dashboard, I discovered that a clip on the support column was no longer in place, and I fixed it with a homemade spacer.
Since I couldn’t find anything online, here is the procedure in case it might be useful to someone.
Starting from the passenger side remove the first plastic vent

Then remove the second plastic underneath (the one with the AirBag ON/OFF control)

Remove by pulling from the bottom the plastic cover between the glove compartments

Pull out the AC control unit

I’ve added a piece of yellow spacer to keep the control unit forward when pressed.

This is where I’ve got the spacer from...

and reverse install!
