Very important, the temperature sensor is located above the sliding tray (which separates the refrigerator compartment from the freezer compartment at the top). If the tray isn't pushed fully back into place, it disrupts the proper division between the fridge and freezer sections. As a result, the control system detects the warmer air from the refrigerator area and mistakenly interprets the entire space as needing more cooling — causing the compressor/motor to run continuously (as if the whole unit were a freezer).Check the tray directly under the freezer is pushed fully in. Things tend to freeze independent of settings if its incorrectly fitted.
