2016 T6 150 DSG 7 gear oil change DIY or specialist?

Owned from new. Gearbox oil changed at about 30k as part of some warranty work. Now 70k. Feel like it’s due/overdue. Where do I find the spec and how easy or not is it? If best left to a VW specialist then any recommendations for NW London / Watford?

Not a simple drain and fill.
You will need VCDS or similar to check the DSG oil temperature as it has to be within a certain temperature range when setting the level and a filling system.

Dsg oil change cost

I’ve just been quoted £365.00 plus vat for a dsg gearbox oil change on my 22 plate 204 Ocean with 36k on the clock Is this a normal price ? Does it require an oil change?

You can find DSG info on You Tube for VW/Audi vehicles. Some kit is needed, pump to put oil back in, kit with drain plug connector for oil fill pipe. Measure oil out to ascertain how much will go back in (approx). You can source all on Ebay. Oil isn't cheap. DIY will be about £200 cheaper. Oh! I used Charista to check oil temp figures for correct oil level. You Tube is best place to pre learn procedure or decide to get done for you.

The oil approximately 7 litres and costs in the region of £120, Fuchs Pentosin, you need the drain plug attachment and pump for refilling from the bottom and a vag com or equivalent also the filter 10 to 15 pounds. DIY do able plenty of information on the net on how to do it.
