See photos attached. Due to sale of our California T6.1 Ocean, this really useful shelf is available. It fits neatly between the front seats and is easily fitted and detached as required. Complete with two cup holders it is great for storage underneath and on top. When in situ it is easy to access handbrake and seat adjuster knobs. Hardly used prior to sale therefore as new. £40 including postage.

Very good! I’ve not seen that before.

I’m sorry if I am wasting your time as I don’t think that I’ll be buying thank you. However, it might help others too to know how you have been using the space underneath? Can the passenger still nip over the top to access the back? What is it made of? Does it literally just sit there resting, perhaps with Velcro? Was it home made? If not, is there a link to an online shop that can answer the questions?

Sorry, that ended up being a longer list of questions than I expected.

Here is the link to the website I bought it from which should answer your questions

Thanks very much for the link. It looks like a really well thought out product that will definitely suit somebody. I had a good look on the website, but I’m still not clear on a few things.

How have you been using the space underneath? Is your passenger still able to climb over the top to access the back without removing the unit? Also, it looks like rotating the seats would be difficult without removing it. Is that right? I can’t see anything on the website addressing these questions.

It basically slides into position as per the photo and at the front left there is a clip which you clip onto the small front well to secure it. It is very sturdy once fitted. You are right it does need to be removed to swivel the seats but only takes a few seconds. I was usually passenger and could step over the shelf easily to access the rear if needed - I’m in my 60’s but I suppose it depends how mobile you are. Nothing wrong with getting out and sliding the door open though as an alternative! We had a box/basket underneath storing all sorts of odds and end for the journey including maps etc. Found it really useful and great for hiding stuff from view too.
