we got one of them in white. agree, brilliant !Fan’tastic
This little fan is absolutely brilliant.
It has a built in battery that you charge via usb, will run all night on battery power and is almost silent. It’s been a real lifesaver on our European trip.
I’m a big fan.
Just buy it.

Ecomat 2000 Select Offshore edition PTC Heater. Winter is coming.
After having a few of the cheaper ceramic heaters and most of them being loud and challenging to control temps without an accurate thermostat I decided to take the plunge.
It certainly looks very sturdy and a quality product that would survive an avalanche.
Is it your only heater or an addition?
@Webbah_in_Switzerland I have used several small electric heaters, but all of them have an issue for me - separate from the noise of the fan - which is the irregular 'clicks' when the thermstat operates on and off (which I lie in wait for).Ecomat 2000 Select Offshore edition PTC Heater. This thing cranks out amazing heat and is almost silent. Even using the lowest power setting of 450 watts it was pumping out heat.
I bought the offshore edition which has extra protection against corrosion (made for boats or high humidity) as it will be stored in my storage box outside the can which can have high humidity.
The price was a hard pill to swallow but the wife and I can’t sleep with noisy fans like the others. Looking forward to some winter trips with this!

That is an expensive item at 300€ or more, but I would be interested in it if, apart from the low fan noise the thermostat is, additionally, silent.
Make sure to get the select version and not the classic. The select is absolutely silent. And the select has a “quiet” function so when the temp is reached the fan runs for a few minutes to cool the heating element and then shuts off. It will turn back on if the temp drops. But this is absolutely worth the money to me now that I’ve used it a few nights. Couldn’t even hear it!

Thanks Webbah and on my specific point, the thermostat control 'on/off' is completely silent in operation, no audible clicking?I would add that one of the main reasons it’s so quiet is the build quality includes high end bearings for the fan. If on high setting you can hear it due to the amount of air movement, but it’s nothing close to any other fan I’ve used. We have used it on 750watts power and found that to be perfect to regulate the temps and keep it at 20-21C. I verified that the temp is also accurate as I have a Ruuvi tag that is inside the van to measure temp and humidity. It was spot on.
