I wish! I’m an NHS clinician! I value my sleep very highly.

I have a Sea to Summit Deluxe Campervan too, for an Ocean it works for either bed location. I store it in the upper bed deflated (having removed the VW supplies mattress which you don’t then need). But then we only ever use one of the two beds at any time.

But since it fits donwstairs, it is in fact too small for upstairs, right ? I didn't find a wider version ..

And so you should. A clever person once said (about something else entirely) “price is what you pay, value is what you get”.

I’ve tried lots of cheap and medium/cheap options over the years, often one on top of the other. I’ve not thought about switching since I bought the Calibed prestige II. As said above, it is a game changer.

I’ve not tried sea to summit, but I suppose that I don’t need to now that I have found what works for me.

I will add that I was actually happy with two 7.5cm self inflating mattresses next to each other, with a zonesleep on top to make what I thought brought “sleep on a cloud” conditions. Unfortunately, Mrs Acer’s view was that it was more like “sleep on a board” and told me about it often. Buying the Calibed Prestige II made Mrs Acer smile and instantly cured my ear ache.

It’s fine:

BTW, for any newcomers to the forum and to California ownership, the earlier videos form Campervantime (previously Californiatime) on YouTube are my recommendation.
