Cadac with the wok lid upturned makes quite a good oven. Warmed day old baguettes with success.

Well..................... I would say that this section 'Cooking in my Cali' seems appropriate for the question which in it self is a perfectly fair and reasonable question asking for help or advice from fellow Cali owners.

Ridge monkey comes to mind
Already tried it, wrap the Brie in good foil (with a dollop of red onion relish) turn the ridge monkey every min or two… works a treat…don’t ha the heat on full tho

You can easily bake a gooey Camembert while camping by wrapping the cheese in foil and placing it directly on warm campfire embers or a portable stove. [1, 2, 3]

How to Prepare and Cook
    • Prep the cheese: Remove any plastic wrapping from one whole Camembert wheel. Score a criss-cross pattern on the top rind with a knife.
    • Add toppings: Push sliced garlic cloves and fresh thyme or rosemary sprigs into the cuts. Drizzle with a teaspoon of honey or olive oil.
    • Use the box & foil: Put the cheese back into the bottom half of its wooden box (remove any paper that isn't greaseproof). Wrap the entire box tightly in a double layer of tin foil to protect it from direct flames.
    • Cook on embers: Place the foil parcel on glowing campfire embers or a medium-low BBQ grill for about 10 to 15 minutes. Turn it halfway through.
    • Serve: Carefully unwrap the hot foil (watch out for steam) and dip in with crusty baguette slices or breadsticks

See, I knew you would have the definitive answer.

Was it a fair and reasonable question or is old Scraynes having a laugh ?
He did post previously about not being able to find level ground in the Alps and kept spilling his wine.
And he wanted to paint his awning one time.
I think you’ve been had.
