Probably cheaper to buy a new set of wheels / tyres with delivery miles, and sell the old set.Is there anyway of removing the corrosion from alloy wheels and preventing it ?

I keep putting my refurbishment off, Inverness is almost £100 a wheel. Trying to justify some OZ Rally raid alloys but struggling…Best thing to do is refurb but with a full powder coat instead of diamond cut, they dont suit our roads.
Powder coat is sturdier than paint.
Approx 50-75 per wheel.

Love the wheels for yearsI'd never tell you to not buy new wheels
Yeah the prices I quoted are in the midlands which tend to be quite competitive as we can travel any where easily. I found the best prices come from powder coating companies that also do wheels, rather than companies that only do wheels.
just struggling with the extra cost given it’s more for the looks than function. As you say, less competition in Inverness so not many options, that’s part of highland life!
