Chatsworth site reopening £££

The popular site 'within' Chatsworth is now reopened for bookings under the Chatsworth brand. It looks to open Nov 1st.
I looked at 3 midweek nights in November for £177 on the cheapest pitch (2 adults and what appeared to be a 'free' dog).
It was never a cheap site but that feels like it's jumped up in price as feared.

Yep, I stupidly showed the Mrs, so booked for two nights in September on route to the Lakes for 6days (with CAMC) and 3 nights in December for the Christmas market...........direct

I'd incorrectly thought they were already closed and major upgrades were taking place. Seems it closes for the CAMC on the 20th September and reopens Nov 1st.
For comparison, 3 midweek nights (as a member) just before they close is £142 vs the £177 under Chatsworth's ownership in November.

How that price can be justified in low season is beyond me.
It will be interesting to see what folks think after a stay; worth the money or rip off?

Supply and demand....I said no, the Mrs gave me a look, I said yes.... life is too short. Just come back from Sheffield and saw the signs....back up in a few weeks time...stayed in a hotel (Mosborough Hall) and missed my great white....on the plus side, up and back in the California...great drive.....but must now pay my £10 for going around the ring road to Rawmarsh

Dont forget to bring you're ear plugs to Chatsworth.....crumbs the pheasants and the crows kicking off throughout the night beats any alarm call (2am)
