Fresh Water Airlock - am I missing something?

More often than not, when I fill the fresh water tank of my MY26 GC600 to 60 litres (minimum) I get an airlock in the system, which means me using the shower hose in the wc to suck on, to draw the water past the pump.

Am I missing a trick? This cannot be standard behaviour…

My MY26 has no issue in this regard and I have filled up to 100l a few times for off grid stays.

Thanks. It’s going in next week for fixes to electrics, amongst other things. So something else to add to the list of fixes required…

Not normal. If you have triggered the frost protection valve so all the water has been purged from the Truma it takes a fair while with the pump running to get water back through the system. As in a good number of minutes.

Thanks @GordonH it’s not Truma related unfortunately. Happens even when the Truma system hasn’t been drained.
