What have you done with your California today?

Fitted my new hook up socket as the spring in my flap had broken, fitted a new California step light in the passenger footwell as the cover was broken and put PPF film over all 3 step lights to try and stop future damage and scratches. Almost forgot, fitted my new folding floor mat. Not too sure about it yet but it is comfy on the knees…….

Is the Matt from the club shop?

More photos as promised. The top box doesn’t foul the fridge door at all . The fridge door doesn’t open a full 90 degrees anyway. The 2nd box may foul the fridge door slightly but nothing to worry about and the bottom one stops it opening almost completely. The wardrobe door opens more than 90 degrees when the boxes are fitted but could open a bit more but it won’t stop you getting anything in or out with them fitted.

I have bought two of these and am actually really pleased with them.
I can open the fridge more or less to its full extent and am using them to store those little things that I can never quite find, eg salt and pepper, sweeteners, tissues, matches, tablets (its an age thing) etc.

Fitted LHS rear wheel speed sensor as the abs packed up the other day 81 is thou…

Packed ready for a French adventure. Installed a new fly screen, too. And printed a load of 3D stuff... hooks, shelves, Starlink mount for the roof (thanks to another member here), and even loaded up some mini spice jars for our new 3D printed spice rack.

Next job? Finalise Claude scheduled tasks on a dedicated, spare Mac Mini, so I can keep things running via my AI agents whilst I'm away. Lol.

Today I long coded my 2016 Ocean to make the wing mirrors fold with the fob.

Ive been looking for a solution using my OBDELEVEN but until now had no luck finding out any information on how.

An OBDeleven member post the instructions back in 2020, How did I miss this?

Any how with this quick modification its great to fold the mirrors without the button on the door.

:)

Last week I removed my EGR altogether and swapped it for a Forge tube, which is a piece of art in itself. (I love machined IMG_7598.jpegaluminium) and yesterday I was brave enough to get a new radio installedIMG_7846.jpeg

Went to pick up a new front end for the Mini.

My first car back in 1972, (1959 Austin Seven Mini costing an astronomical £17.50), had one of those.
The original front end had had terminal tin worm. It didn't last long as I crashed it into the back of a stationary vicar. (He was in his car at the time). Unfortunately, his language was less than forgiving and quite unholy.

Topped up my Adblue today. First time

Now, that’s my level of Cali technical job! (And, I was very impressed with myself too when I topped up for the first time.)
I’m in awe of what some people on here undertake. Just look at today’s / yesterday’s posts.

pretty much, especially when it has something on it. It might be slightly higher at door end, but its marginal, and certainly not enough to cause any issues.
