Updated ID Buzz

Some nice updates for the ID Buzz including V2L and camp mode which will provide enough power for induction cooking etc instead of using an Ecoflow or similar.

Come on VW, us EV lovers just need an option for a factory fitted pop up roof as an alternative to the Multivan based Cali Beach now.

We have done exactly this with our Buzz last year, genuine California table works well inside and out and slides out of mounts like on T7 Cali. The gap you see under the bed in the above picture is perfect size for the Dometic 30l drawer fridge we use and is easier to access the contents than on the 40l Cali option where everything is buried underneath other food and drink.

The ID Buzz California should be a simple exercise for VW and will hopefully be available soon or at least shown in concept form. Simply fit a wide pop top as SCA Germany or Peace Vans USA does, and remove the middle row of seats to provide more open internal living space relying on just the two rear seats that are already on slides. 5th seat option could be possible using existing floor fixings for the current mid row seats on a 6 seater (subject to weight of course).

Come on VW sort it. Some of us don't want to be stuck in the dark ages burning fossil fuels for everyday and holiday travel.
