Emissions warning light has just come on. Has anyone else had this happen. Our son is borrowing our camper for the next few days and don’t know whether it can wait until then before we take it into the VW garage.

Emissions warning light has just come on. Has anyone else had this happen. Our son is borrowing our camper for the next few days and don’t know whether it can wait until then before we take it into the VW garage.

A not uncommon problem. Unless you have the engine diagnostic codes read using an OBD reader such as Carista, OBD 11 or VCDS then it is pure guess work as to the cause.
A little more information would help.
Vehicle year?
Milage?
Daily driver? If so short or long runs?
