Hi all, new to the forum after buying our first California last week. Have just travelled down to Wales on our first trip and it seems the regulator is done. Have tried all the other suggestions with no luck. Very little or no flow and with a hard hit I get some gas but not for long. Seems like ill either need to covert to a different regulator style or wait for a while to get a new one.

Cant seem to find the original one anywhere at the moment, anyone got any ideas? as the forum shop is also out of stock.

TIA Gav

Dump the GOK valve and stop cock and fit the Calor 907 combined regulator and tap.
Have to cut fitting on end of rubber hose off and use a circlip to secure.
From Calor or Amazon.

Perfect thanks, would it be a small jubilee clip rather than the circlip?

I inserted one of these quick release in-line gas connectors in the gas hose.
Using it makes it easy to disconnect and lift out the gas bottle with regulator to weigh or connect to a gas Barbacue fitted with the same connector.

If you decide to fit then check size before ordering. I can’t remember which I used.

The gas tubing is of composite construction. I placed the cut end in a cup of just boiled water for a few minutes to soften it. Makes it easier to push on.
