Sink cover lid latch issue 6.1

my sink lid locks but struggles to open when the button is pressed unlike the stove and fridge, which pop open.

Anyone else had this problem and knows how to get it rectified

Any help appreciated

Thanks for sending this over. Any idea how to get the button out ?

When the sink glass cover is out the button acts perfectly with the spring action. It just doesn’t spring open the glass for some reason

Read some of the similar threads. One mentions adjusting the cover hinge can help.
