Replacing Aircon blower resistor.

My aircon recently only started working at full blast on 4 or not at all on 1,2 and 3. Seems to be the blower resistor which I can buy online for £10/20. Watched a few you tubes how to replace which suggested it was a simple job but didnt seem totally straightforward for a non techy like myself. Anyone one else done this and views on whether a DIY job ?

Easy but time consuming, cost me a little extra as I had to buy a small socket set as there's an unusual bolt size, think its 6mm and its only accesable with a socket.
