Today was our first ever trip in our new (old) Cali after 25 year with a splitty, a quick potter over to France for a week.

Quick question for the hardened Cali owners, 34.7 MPG, steadyish 60 for 150 miles, (motorway for 50, hills and country roads for the rest) is that about right for a 2017 Ocean 4Motion, half laden?

Cheers all, enjoy your travels!

I suppose so. (I’d expect maybe 40mpg for my standard T6.1, 150bhp). Prepare for lots of numbers coming your way.

I’m just here to say that I love the registration number.

For a 2.5 ton 4 Motion vehicle that's about right.

We are sitting at about 32mpg when driving rural and urban but a tad lower on the motorway  Something to do with gravity and a heavier right foot when there is an M in the title!
We are a 2024 204 4wd.
The 150ps 2wd will use less fuel per mile but we like the way ours drives.
Hope this helps. (nice van!)

My goodness, that is truly impressive. I assume all 204 are 4wd?
I know mine is, not sure if they all are.

I press softy but 8,5liter /100 km . .I couldn’t more down.

204 4Motion here. Also around 8 / 100km. high 7's occasionally but use the "sailing" feature where possible and variable cruise rarely. Physics is not our friend. Heavy vehicle and hills = poor consumption.
I would bet the best figures are people living in the Netherlands.

We just got back from 2400 miles around spain, (Santander, Pyrenees, Med coast to Mazarron, up to Salamanca, Picos de Europa and out of Bilboa) averaged 38.2 mpg (7.4 L / 100km) , doing no more than 105kph on motorways. Was pretty impressed given the number of mountains we went up. We are 204 but not 4motion.

Just returned from a 530 mile trip to the West of Ireland. Fairly gentle driving on mostly superb roads and around 60 mph average on the main N Roads. Consumption averaged 43 mpg - 150 Diesel. This was my first longish trip and I'm pleasantly surprised.

Amazingly, on a 320 mile run from home in Yorkshire, via the Hull-Rotterdam ferry to St Goar on the Rhine in Germany we achieved 48.5mpg!!!! 2024 204 4Motion.

Overall we got 42.1mpg for the whole holiday covering close to 900 miles which included some shorter journeys.

We were following our friend who was towing his caravan at a steady speed all the way and there were no traffic jams or other . Average speed for the whole journey 45mph.

Usually we are lucky to get more than 32mpg on short journeys around home.
