Hi all. Due delivery of a new Beach next month and we have the stock wheels on it as there’s only two options on the beach. Anyone switched over to a set of aftermarket 18’s? Any recommendations? Thanks
Welcome to the T7 beach club - I haven't looked at switching but I would say to give the stock ones a try - personally I find the massive amount of tyre you get quite handy, especially when traversing rough campsite tracks or urban shopping centres when trying to park it!Hi all. With the state of the roads as they are the extra depth of the tyre wall is very usefulHi all. Due delivery of a new Beach next month and we have the stock wheels on it as there’s only two options on the beach. Anyone switched over to a set of aftermarket 18’s? Any recommendations? Thanks
Exactly this - the ones up in Northumberland where I live are especially terrible - if you crash through an unavoidable pothole with the massive tyres on the stock wheels you generally come off okay - much prefer them to the massive wheels I had on my previous vehicle. With the state of the roads as they are the extra depth of the tyre wall is very useful
I’m in the same position having decided to stick with the base spec 16” wheels waiting for delivery, in terms of appearance they look a bit weedy but if the trade off is ride comfort I’m torn about upgrading if it compromises the ride. I do however need proper winter tires so I’m minded to stick with the 16” but get AT tires. Not gona lie, that looks shockingI think the swamper look is alive with the T7, this is from a German company called delta4x4 the wheels and tyres are around £3k

What shoes you putting on ?Managed to get the last set of these in Europe in 18’s that will fit the T7. A hint of Swamper but not too much I thought. Spoke to the manufacturer and he said that due to the low demand for the t7 aftermarket’s they’re pulling them from production. I’ll post some pics once they’ve arrived

A set of CrossClimatesWhat shoes you putting on ?
Hawt stuff man
Nice!
The doors just clear them thankfully!Nice!
What’s the wheel spec/width/offset on these please? And are the tyres cross climate 3s? Assume there’s not much clearance for the doors looking at that offset?!
I’m considering the a set of Cross Climate 3 Sports for ours as on paper seems like a good bet for year round usage.

Spec 5/120, Wheel Size / Fitment: 8.0 x 18 ET45 5/120 65.1
Cross climates seem good so far. First time I’ve tried a set.
