I'm fitting a Votronic Standby Charger under the front passenger seat. I got the four nuts/bolts out and tilted the chair and I've been wrestling with it for an hour trying to undo the blue connector but can't pull it apart.....
It had a black plastic clip on which keeps it together - I removed that but still no joy. I even tried using a big screwdriver to prise the two halves apart. I'm wondering if there is another top secret hidden latch preventing it coming apart? This is on an Ocean T6.1, pictures on other threads seem to show a different type of connector.

UPDATE: done and dusted. I was able to connect everything up with the seat tilted forwards

Why do you need a Votronic? The 6.1 charges the starter battery.

That’s a whole other topic - much discussed in other threads on here :) but in a nutshell it lets you use your leisure battery solar charging set-up to also send a very small charge to the starter battery when camping or long periods without driving to prevent flat starter battery.

I’d just carry a jump pack instead?

Yeah, there’s lots of options and I did consider that as well as the small portable solar panels from the AA etc. once the seat is out though it’s dead easy to fit, hopefully then don’t have to worry at all - if only I could get the connector unplugged
Will have another go today

If you still want to know how to disconnect the blue connector, look at your first picture. On the left side you have some kind of small lever. You have to tilt that lever a bit, and then you can disconnect the two halves.
On your second picture, you can see the hook, just above your thumb nail.

Thanks for the info It was difficult to see under the seat. In the end I was able to leave it connected and tip the seat forwards, that gave me enough space to connect the Votronic.
