Gas leak

Hi all.
I’ve looked at some previous posts on gas leaks but couldn’t find my exact issue.
I have a gas leak that seems to occur only when I fully open the valve on top of the gas cylinder on my 2018 California Ocean. I can smell and hear the gas when the valve is fully open. As soon as I back the valve off a bit, the smell and sound of the gas disappears.
Is this a failing valve that needs to be replaced?
If so, is the right item the gok valve available at the club shop?
Thanks for any help.

Is the pipe tight? Its a left handed thread. Use leak detection spray to see where the leak is. It's not a complex system

That would make sense to me!
Have the regulator/valve/hose been changed before on it? They're 'supposed' to be changed every 5 years.

Had from new and never changed them. Thanks.

My gok regulator failed when it was around 2 years old. Probably only used about 20 times as well. At the time the club shop didn't have any, so ordered off Amazon.

I was a bit confused at the time as the one I was ordering had different numbers stamped on my. It turns out it was the manufacturing date, the old one had 12.22 and the new one had 14/16
