Morning ! Bit of a newbie question..... I know that the EcoFlow units have been discussed a fair bit but I'm looking at getting one as a general back up at home and as a power source for odd times when no EHU is available when we're in the van. I don't currently plan to hardwire it into our GC600 but might do later. I'd been looking at the DELTA 3 MAX Plus 2048KWh but wanted to be sure that this was going to be a good starting point in terms of capacity. Also considering getting solar panels for it. I've looked at Bluetti, Jackery etc but keep coming back to the EcoFlow as it seems most GC owners prefer this unit. Any tips, wise words apprecited. Thank you.

We have a 1kWh Jackery V2, plus a 2kWh Bluetti AC200 Max, and they are much of a muchness tbh.

We charge with panels when stationary and 12v cigarette cable when driving. Be aware that Jackery have their own 8mm port rather than MC4 or XT60 connectors, etc.

As long as you're buying LiFEPO4 and not NMC or ion, you can charge and discharge fully and still get the 5 year+ warranty guaranteeing a minimum of 70% capacity.

They have generally come down a LOT in price in the last 12 months and all websites have regular deals.

I’ve been using the Solar green tech 2000, it’s pretty bombproof and military approved, made in Britain .
Used in the van most weekends and also use it in my building business when no power available and comes with solar panels as well.
Slightly more pricey but will last a long time and you get what you pay for!
