Hello everyone. Another newbie here! We've hired a few times, been Eriba owners (love them, but towing is a hassle), currently have a converted Caddy Maxi with a roof tent which we're selling, and yesterday we put the deposit down on a Cali Beach Camper 6.1. It's 5 years old, 41k miles, and seems to be in great shape. Not sure when we're getting it yet as we're in Scotland and it's on the south coast and we're still working that out, but look forward to loving it and learning lots! We did a TON of research, thanks to advice / useful threads on here, and on the Beach / Cali Facebook groups. Look forward to being part of the community.

You are on an excellent place for taking your van out to some beautiful locations north, south an west.
Are you going to camp in the south for a couple of days before the long trek home to tease out any possible issues? Lots of lovely locations here too.
:welcome

Thank you, and hopefully! Still working out the logistics which are a bit tricky as my OH and I have separate trips planned in April, and also are likely to fly down so won't have much with us. Looking forward all the same.

That will be about it if we fly down, yes! Considering seeing if they will deliver it, which would be alot easier for a whole host of reasons, but obvious down side re not inspecting on site.

We are based in Central Scotland and we bought our new Ocean just over 2 years ago from Breeze in Poole. We flew down and found the whole experience very good. We had great after sales support as we had the unfortunate leaky bellows on our T6.1 despite them being them being the “latest” version that VW said would resolve the issue. We are now in thankfully in a dry Cali!!
I would have no worries about the purchase process with Breeze and if there was anything that was an issue I am sure they would do their best to resolve to your satisfaction.
Hope you are able to take the final step and I am sure you will not be disappointed it is an outstanding vehicle

Hi
Great. The 6.1 van is a very good van. Enjoy.
Collect and inspect - and by the time you have driven home you will know a lot more about the van and probably posted a few questions on the forum also, to answer questions.

Thank you. That's proving to be tricky to organise but we may just need to wait a few weeks longer!

@GreenMissile looks like we're following in your footsteps! Just sorted today our trip to Poole for the end of April to collect (sadly we can't get there before then). The van we are buying had a tear in the bellows so they're replacing. Hopefully all will be dry then!
