Hi,
After a few trips away to get used to our Cali there are a few extras we want to get for the summer.

1. Drive away awning
2. Tow bar fitting bike rack as we have a spoiler on the back so a factory one won't fit. (Also want to be able to open the back door still if possible.)
3. Toilet tent for when we're a long way from the facilities!

Does anyone have any of these for sale?

Also does anyone have general advice on which bike rack to look at?

I have a ATERA GENIO PRO ADVANCED bike rack. If you go to the roof box company on line you can see all the details. It has been used 4 times for our e bikes, which have since been sold. The bike rack is as new. Looking for £400, can send photos if you are interested. The tail gate can be opened with the bikes on. I live near Portsmouth, I was going to put a box on it but I have now bought a small box trailer.

I've got the Thule EasyFold XT2 which only takes two bikes, but there's an XT3 that takes 3 and I think you can buy an add on to add an extra one. They've been replaced with slightly newer versions just called the EasyFold 2 and 3.

I picked a folding one because I need to save storage space, but the Thule VeloSpace 2 and 3 are similar, non folding and hence cheaper. Thule also supply some of the optional extra bike racks for Volvo and probably others. They are basically just the same thing with a different badge on and you can save a bit extra.

Should be pointed out that they also drop / fold away from the van when on the towbar, apparently to allow the tailgate to open. On my T6.1 there's not quite enough clearance for it to open, but there's a slight modification you can make by removing a plastic stop on the bike rack so it will.

The Atera Strada DL bike rack also tilts away from the boot. I’ve got one for my T5.1 and when I align the handlebars with the frame the tailgate opens.
There’s one on eBay for just over £200 at the moment (not by me) and has the additional 4th bike rail. Looks like a bargain for you.
Oh, and well done for actually using the ‘wanted’ tag, most don’t seem to be bothered!

The advantage of coming to my own house in Notts is that I can pitch/demo the stuff in my back garden.
