Decathlon's inflatable awning

Has anyone tried this Decathlon gazebo/tent/awning with a cali? Looks much easier than most of the drive away awnings, just not sure if the connection will work with a poptop.

I can see a few have been sold on here, but can't see anyone talking about using them.

We have one and like it. They are good. We didn't attach it. Just had it very close.

We had the previous version of this (different colours). Worked great. Have replaced as it got older with the berghaus equivalent but the principle is the same. Head height.. sit inside when wind blows.. easy to put up and take down etc.! We tended to park van nearish and then extend the sun canopy over to it. Didn’t need to be wholly accurate then where we parked.

Thanks, that's the kind of thing I was thinking. The drive away awning attachment looks like a pain, parking somewhere nearish to it sounds much easier!

I just bought the decathlon gazebo on offer - plan to park close!

We have one. Attaching directly to the van is not easy when the roof is up. They look like they are designed for vans without a poptop. But parking close, putting up the awning is no problem. They are heavy and the package is large. Bigger than I expected when we picked it up at a Decathlon.

We've an older colour version too.

We have put the lower side next to the van, the height matches better, with the mostly rolled up door up and onto the awning housing. It leaves the high opening/ canopy looking out.

Works best as a standalone though.
