Excited to finally get a Cali!

What a great forum this is, so much help and has helped me find the California spec I want and need.

Finally managed to find one for sale that wasn't too far away, deal done and collected it yesterday!

It's a 4motion Ocean and I have been waiting for one with a diff lock as do go off road quite a bit.

Thanks to this forum have found that the rear temperature control panel has stuck down buttons, causing it to go into Sauna mode.

As I'm a wildlife photographer with a small YouTube channel, the van will be featuring in my adventures, can't wait to take it to some wild places...

Sauna mode. Been there, done that. Cooked my passengers in Croatia last summer.... No wonder teh aircon at the front was working flat out!

It’s great you’ve found your happy van! A Cali is an excellent base for lots of things. Inevitability you’re staying in the countryside, so nature is at your door. We’ve spotted all manner of wildlife right on our campsite!

Just had our rear panel replaced under warranty. Over £1k apparently.

Great looking van. Rear panel sticky buttons is a VW known, recognised and accepted issue If there's any warranty left rear panel should be included and replaced. We had ours replaced under warranty for 'sticky' buttons a couple of weeks ago.

You will love the drive. We're taking ours to Scotland and Norway this year to test it out!!
Also slightly cooked but survived!
