Hello, I have read all the historic threads re swivelgate! Has anyone successfully fitted a Kiravan or Sportscraft swivel base to their t6 ocean comfort seat? Did the handbrake lowering kit look OK and did you have to trim the rear seat panel. Any help would be much appreciated.

Yes but only to passenger seat. I used the kiravan and it works fine including all the electrical movements
Thank you for your reply, our passenger seat is already a swivel as standard. We may in the future adapt the driver comfort seat but I understand that the handbrake needs lowering and the rear seat trim requires modifications. Just wondered if anyone out there has had experience. Thanks again.

The handbrake lowering is to enable the seat to swivel with the handbrake On.
The standard California with swivel seats does not have this function, you have to release the handbrake to swivel the drivers seat and if you have a DSG you leave it in Park or if a Manual in 1st or Reverse to swivel.
Lowering the handbrake is nice but thousands of owners manage without it.
