Good afternoon all,

Having had a Cali SE a few years ago I am back in the California family via a California Beach Camper.

I have been buying the essentials, including mats and seat covers.

My van has the storage and side storage so is a 4 seater.

The mats didn’t quite fit as they were for a standard beach but easy to trim (rubber ones).

The seat covers however, in inks brand appear to only fit an ocean in the rear and I find them really uncomfortable on long journeys.

Whilst second skin aren’t waterproof, are they a better option?

I would welcome thoughts

The club shop have the GTi style ones or the premium leather look ones. Again they are not waterproof. I guess it depends on whether you want/need waterproof covers. I’ve always used the genuine VW waterproof covers and found them to be fine.

The leather look seats from the club shop are fantastic, and we find easier to live with as they don’t stain like some of the other options. They look classy and look OEM, you wouldn’t really know that they were seat covers
