Engine and gearbox remap done

Just had my Cali T6.1 199 bhp 4motion remapped by Luke Stevens Developments.
I had both the engine and the gearbox remapped and have to say, what a difference. Power is up to 223bhp and torque is up to 459Nm.
But, the big difference is in how the Cali drives. No more hesitation on pulling away at junctions, immediate throttle response and it just keeps accelerating so smoothly up through the gears.
Very happy with the result, and well worth the 360 mile round trip to have the remap done on a rolling road that can accommodate the 4motion.

I'm yet to do a brim to brim mpg check, but it will be what it will be, for me.
To have silky smooth gear changes and none of the previous hesitancy when setting off from junctions or at roundabouts, far outweighs a couple of mpg. Who knows, I may be pleasantly surprised by that, too.
I'll report back again after I next fill up.
By the way, it's a bit quicker, too

I’ve got the same van with the same hesitation issue, does it really give instant response? Not too bothered about the mpg, as long as the drive ability is better. What was the cost if you do t mind me asking?

There is no hesitation. It feels like it doesn't have to think about it, when the throttle is pressed.
I'd rather not advertise Luke's costs, but I'm sure he will gladly give you a quote

Had a quick look at Luke's website and see he is a Pendle agent.
Martin of Pendle Performance (lets say, "interesting character"....), did a very good remap on my old T5. I believe it was the first with a dpf he'd done.... very reliable and now over 150k remapped miles and the van is still running with the owner who bought it from me.
