Mud flap options for T6.1's with a sports pack?

Has anyone had any success with this?

Annoyingly I didnt read this thread before ordering mine from VeeDub Transporters, all hard plastic and definitely won't fit with the sports kits side skirts that seem to be fitted to my Cali.

Let me know how that goes...you may have a few of us following on! Just spent a fortune gettuing the van detailed and amount of tar spots and junk stuck to the sides was awful...
2 mins on the roads at the moment and the van is covered!!!
@PeteNats have ordered them, we are away to lanzarote in morn so won’t get them fitted until I return next weekend,

Any updates on the mudflaps?
@Kidz147 , yeh not for me, not fussed drilling holes in the plastic lining, they look shite unless you shape them and that means drilling/fixing to inner plastic lining.

am going to buy the rear factory flaps, although that means drilling to bumper, but hey ho, hopefully they fit over the rear black section on the sportkit bumper.

Has anyone managed to successfully fit front and rear mudflaps to a t6.1 with sports kit fitted?

@Kidz147 right, I have played about with the aftermarket vw flaps this evening, same ones in the links in earlier posts, the rears fit but are a few mm out from the existing screws on the rear arch lining, the fronts I have cut the nub of the inner part of the mud flap and reckon it’ll fit, needs wheels off to fit properly but I taped them up and they aren’t far away, once I get wheels off some evening il screw them on and post pics

Awesome and appreciated.

@PeteNats @Kidz147 see pics attached, got my rears fitted last night, they fit ok, if i was being extra picky, i should cut a small section of the mudflap, or a tiny piece off the end profile on the rear sport lip, but i dont like cutting things, both screws into existing holes, 20mm spacer on bottom hole behind mudflap.

the fronts will take a bit more thought,

Really looking good @JAG7001, which rear mud flaps did you fit in the end?

Also which front mudflaps are you planning on fitting and modifying?

I had a go on the rears and made the necessary cuts in the flaps to allow them to sit flush with the arch liner and use the original fixing. Chuffed with the results. The fronts however are going to need a lot more work....
