CG 600 Roof weight limit

Hi.

I have the GC 600 and was looking at fixing the flat Starlink on its roof. Would anyone know the weight limit on the roof and would I be able to screw the plates or glue them.

Don’t know the answer to your question but watching this thread with interest as would also love to mount a starlink on my GC at some point. Would love to see a solution that doesn’t require me to dremel open the dishy to mount it though…

I have ordered a pivot mount and my idea is to glue this on the roof (access through the rear roof window). And when I’m driving to either lay it flat or remove the dish. Starlink do a flat high performance dish but the cost at approx £2.5k is too much, more so your left with the existing dish

Alternatively I have a cycle rack on the rear door and to remove the tripod and clamp the dish at it highest point.

I'd like to mount one on my Cali Ocean too, perhaps the roof bars where the sola panel are attached. Surely it should only be a matter of time until something is designed, this will be a huge market for Starlink, I can't see them ignore that!

Hmmm, not sure? Perhaps a call to your dealer might clarify…I’ve been talking to a few fabricators recently about trying to find a away to make low profile roof rack able to provide a walk way and somewhere to store stuff? Let you know if I figure it out.
