First weekend away in the Cali to Cambridge for the Duxford Battle of Britain airshow.

Not from my van but from my bicycle. There’s not quite enough headroom to pedal through, about an inch too low. But remove cycling helmet, take a good run up, and clamp jaws onto the handlebars you can glide under with a millimetre or two to spare.

5ft is 1.524m so which is right height? I ask as I am 1.51 m and under 5ft so may be able to walk under there. If thinking in feet then I could pass but not if meters.

Arrived at Camping International Lac Bleu in Annecy! Thanks for the recommendations folks. It’s lovely. Sipping a cold one and enjoying the view whilst our laundry dries in the 29c sunshine.

Currently on the island of Pag Croatia. Almost Luna, on a campsite just outside Novalja. Very nice site. Lucky enough to be beach side. Passed 3 GC’s on getting to the pitch a few T6/6.1 lots of Fiat based vans, however No T4’s
