Fixed both our chairs today in under an hour with parts supplied by Domi. D.Baeurle@gmx.de

Parts arrived within a week of us paying and were easy to fit. €80 plus €10 post and packing.

Did you get two sets? I got four parts in the one €40 package ... ?

Yes we got two sets. Both chairs had some ot the parts broken and it made sense to replace them all in one go.

If you're remotely handy you can do a "copper pipe" type fix as shown in post #116 in this thread.

If you want something a bit more "factory" (well actually how they should be from the factory!) then my post #119 give an example of an Aluminium fix. The new parts will far outlive the orignal chair!!!

If you can't make up the parts yourself then suppliers are shown in posts #125 and #126.

I had the same problem with the plastic part at the top of the leg where it meets the armrest. Bought an aluminium part from a chap in Germany, he posts under the name ‘cali.krack’.
He sells the part in sets and posts to UK, so I replaced the joints on both chairs.
He has a website and sells other things he makes himself for californias.
Worth a look.

I couldn’t find his shop and his posts were several years old.

I ended up ordering from eBay but it was £70 for a kit for both chairs
