Setting off today in the Cali, after about a minute I get a warning bong and a message saying the pop top was open, it wasn't.

Proceeded to carry on driving and the bongs went from intermittent to constant over the course of about 15 minutes.

Tried pulling over and turning engine off and on again but alert was still present.

In the end fully raised the roof and then fully lowered which seems to have cleared the alerts.

Anyone else had this?

Happened once to us just as we set off. The bed base was not quite down properly due to the mattress and this caused the warning as the roof wasn't completely down.

Did you check the roof gutter for any debris? Happened to us once, a broken pine cone was the culprit. The roof also looked closed when we checked.

The thing is the roof hadn't been raised since the last time I drove it, in fact it hadn't been raised for weeks.

On the other had I made a 3 hr joureny from the Lakes and pulling up in my drive and looking back I saw that the roof was not fully down as the side if the pop-up canvas was trapped. No warning.
