We are off to Norway in summer too. Definitely taking our insulated wrap. However, having experienced weather around Europe, just be aware that you may be putting it up and taking it down in rain so you maybe carrying a wet cover round with you. Insulated covers definately keep you cosier though.
It's either those or sleeping downstairs!

Always liked sleeping up stairs but never had a problem with the rain, then again not experienced lots of rain, I am going to think of this trip maybe more of an expedition than a holiday

Add another.... We are planning on heading up to Norway via Denmark. June - July. No plans to take a topper and expecting to sleep upstairs!!

Excellent. I did wonder if it was necessary. We are going in August as far as Lofoten so i thought the odd night might be cool. However, we do have an electric blanket now!

Average highs of 15 and lows of 10. I would expect to handle that just fine with the diesel heater...

Crossing to Norway on 6 June, Hirtshals to Bergen then up to Kristiansund, wanted to get to Lofoton but didn't think 28 days would be enough time as we are returning via Kristiansand, no uk Crossing booked
