Upgrading T5 upper bed lattice rost to disc springs

Any tips on best way to remove the slats and plastic fittings?
I replaced some of my slats, just lift slowly from the middle and they'll come out one by one without damage.

Thanks. We're heading to Munich soon and plan on collecting direct from Squergo. Going to follow another forum member and fit the new system in their carpark before continuing our trip. Just need to make sure I pack my rivet gun, drill etc.

Sitting cross-direction of the car with one foot each side of the lat that is to be removed. The pull up in the middle (HARD) with one hand while leaning backwards, keeping the other hand on the end of the slat pushing "down and back", creating a "bending" of the lat. All while policing the end of the lat that is to come out, to not hit the canvas. Key is to use body inertia and two damn firm grips. The plastics are soft and mine came out easily.

Good luck, the package contains all rivets and threads needed. Ok instructions translated with Apple translate photo. The only part that is badly covered is the two "keepers" of the channel for the sliding cover in the front. It can be added last after all riveting is done by lifting the entire bed up. BUT it is easier to at least place them before or during riveting. You will see... With rivet gun you could haved it done in 1hr.
