Two Brompton bikes in the cali?

Has anyone tried a stowing a Brompton G Line in their Cali?
We have a C line electric and a G line electric, the only way I’ve found is to strap them down in the back whilst in their travel boxes with Rock straps around the seat rails. Once on site they’re moved outside, covered with a waterproof BBQ cover and chained to the van or something else appropriate.

Brilliant thank you all so much, this is just what I needed

It looks a bit "chucked in" there but it's not the lightest and I wasn't going to fiddle about too much. I've also put it behind the front seats before now. I really like the G-line, it's good fun!

The G-line seems to a great bike for less city type cycling which is just what I want to do and now I know it fits in the Cali it seems perfect. Thanks again, I really appreciate it and this excellent California community

We have 2. Keep them on the rear shelf covered in £2.99 seemingly purpose built bags from ikea. I have a brooks b17 and my partner a nice padded female seat from decathlon. I did 90 mins earlier today, no problem.
Hi, what IKEA bags are these please?!
Thanks

I keep our electric C Line on it’s side in an eBay Brompton case (behind the CADAC) and my P Line on the bed which I transfer to the passenger footwell once pitched for the night and seats swivelled. A neat solution that works well, though we’ve just bought a 5.4m van for the greater space and comfort that we need.
